About me :

I entered  the undergraduated department of chemical engineering in 2004 and upon completion of my studies in 2009, I started the M.Sc grade at Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute (2009-2011). During M.S and B.S, my research efforts focused on engineering: polymer processing, blending, surface modification. Upon experiences in a petochemical compaty for two years in Asaluyeh, Bushehr, I felt inspired to continue my research related to gas separation application. So, I began a PhD in polymeric membrane for gas separation. These day, I think how can I apply the membranes for practical applications.

Educations :

  • B.S. Chemical Engineering, 2004, Isfahan University of Technology-Isfahan
  • M.S. Chemical Engineering, 2009,Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute-Tehran
  • Ph.D. Chemical Engineering, 2012, Isfahan University of Technology-Isfahan

Research Interests :

My research program explores the relationship between the polymer structure and properties. More specifically, my research efforts focus on synthesis and characterization of polymers for gas separation membrane applications (e.g. pre- and post-carbon capture, natural gas sweetening). From the industrial standpoint, my current challenge is developing polymeric membranes with high permeability and acceptable selectivity, which can meet up the following requirements: good mechanical properties, chemical/thermal stabilities and plasticization resistance to prolong the membrane life under challenging conditions encountered practical usage.
